I like the composition/perspective and poses in these photos. I also like the direct mode of address.
The background is not perfect however it is not the worst and is also not very attention grabbing/distracting.
I like the direct mode of address and varying poses in these photos. However, I feel the pure black background blends too much with the top and the lighting is not great. I am not sure whether I will use these photos or not.

I like the subverting gaze and pose in this photo. I also like the contrast between the dark wall and the light floor in the background which compliments the colour palette of the outfit.
I would be interested in experimenting with editing this photo to add 3D/glowing style face paint over the top to link with the animations in the video + other parts of the website. An example of intertextuality can be seen with the top referencing a 2000 comic (which are mentioned elsewhere on the website).
I would like to use this photo as an interactive part of the website where the user can scroll to reveal Photo Booth/polaroid style photos of each member of the band.
I will crop the bottom of the image in order to keep the shirt plain to match the other images and keep attention on the face/pose.
I have individual photos for each band member with this backdrop and their instrument. I feel the background is simple enough to not distract the audience but also fits in with the image of the rock genre.

Each member of the band will have a photo with a Funko Pop that relates to their personality presented on the ‘About Us’ page. For this one, the figure is of the Marvel character Deadpool as a rock/metal singer. The individual mentions an interest in 2000s comics elsewhere on the website.
The background is of a rat cage (which is also brought up on the website) as it is busy but not too distracting.
